Indekset benyttes til l\u00f8bende regulering af betalingen for bustrafikken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Af Lasse Repsholt, cand.scient.pol og HD (R)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Den kollektive bustrafik er pr\u00e6get af lange og forpligtende samarbejdsrelationer mellem trafikselskaberne og busselskaberne. Kontrakter af b\u00e5de 8, 10 og 12 \u00e5rs varighed er normalt. Dette er med til at sikre kontinuiteten, forudsigelighed og effektivitet i bustrafikken. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Omkostningsindekset er et v\u00e6rkt\u00f8j der sikrer en l\u00f8bende regulering af kontraktbetalingen, og er med til at holde risikoen og dermed priserne nede. Trafikselskaberne i Danmark opdaterer hver m\u00e5ned et nye v\u00e6rdier for omkostningsindekset p\u00e5 baggrund af tal fra Danmarks Statistik.
